Middle Mouse button wont launch multiple URLs at once, but it used to

Brave previously did this for years. Not sure how its broken now. Other browsers on my PC do it just fine: FF, Iron, Chrome. Note: When using the middle mouse button on a folder sitting in the bookmarks bar, those will open every URL, no problem. But if its a link in a sub folder - a folder inside that bookmarks bar folder, the middle mouse button fails to do anything.

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Use latest version of Brave on Win 10
  2. Have more than 1 URL to open in a sub folder in a bookmarks bar folder
  3. Click middle mouse button, nothing happens. Previously I could open all my favorite daily links at once when starting Brave

Expected result:
To open multiple URLs in their own tab when clicking with mouse wheel.
