METAMASK DOESN'T WORK, IT KEEPS LOADING. I TRIED A LOT OF THINGS

My Metamask keeps loading and then opens out of nowhere. When I try to open it, it just keeps loading with the fox image at startup. I’ve updated the extension, restarted my PC, etc. Nothing works. When I inspect it, I get: “Uncaught (in promise) Error: Corruption: block checksum mismatch.”

Hello - What version of Brave are you experiencing this on?

Have you tried disabling and re-enabling the extension?

Hi Evan,

Brave: 1.76.81 // Chromium: 134.0.6998.166
Metamask: 12.14.1

I prefer not reinstall for security reasons. I also put an issue in Metamask Github, I will wait a new version to see if it is solved. But if there is a solution without reinstalling metamask could be great. I want to rule out that it was the product of a hacker attack or something like that.
