Brave Shields get detected when i’m reading articles on the following site
medjugorje-news .com
It gets detected when you open an article or scroll through the article. I tried to ide both the default settings and aggressive mode
Brave Shields is not detected. Brave Shields is not AdBlock. But, adblocking is detected.
Some control over AdBlock functioning, is within a Brave Shields setting: “Trackers & ads blocking”
EXAMPLE: Global Brave Shields in Brave Browser Settings:
EXAMPLE: Site Specific Brave Shields:
In a Brave Browser New Window go to:
brave://settings/content/javascript
Scroll down that javascript settings page to Allowed to use javascript
Click the Add button
Enter [*.]medjugorje-news.com as the site . . . but do not Enable the following:
- Current Private session only
Click the Add button
In a Brave Browser New Window, go to:
brave://settings/shields/filters
Scroll down to Create Custom filters
Therein, scroll down to the end of the list, and enter:
medjugorje-news.com###tie-popup-adblock
Click the Save changes button
In a Brave Browser New Private Window, go to the website of interest:
https://medjugorje-news.com/
Click on the Brave Shields [icon] button at the upper-right corner of the Brave Browser window, and Allow all trackers & ads
