@boopboopboop looks like I can reproduce this. For some reason space bar doesn’t work, but if I hit Tab
instead, the text is inserted as expected. Will ask the our macOS team about why this might be happening in Brave.

I am having mixed results using Tab.
It works fine when typing in this community site but not in Gmail or Pastebin.
Seconding this. I can’t seem to get it to work with Tab either.

### Description
The macOS text replacement feature doesn't work in Brave, speci… fically. The expected behavior is that when you have text replacements entries in System `Settings --> Keyboard`, when the suggested text appears, simply pressing the space bar will insert the replacement text. This does not work in Brave, however.
Note that Chrome and other Chromium based browsers perform as expected and pressing the space bar when the replacement is suggested inserts the replacement. Pressing `Tab` in Brave to insert the replacement works _sometimes_ but some users have reported that pressing `Tab` is inconsistent. This behavior is new to v1.78.94.
