Mac desktop autofill password manager not working.

How can this issue be reproduced? -

  1. The password manager does not work on any of my websites.
  2. It’s a new problem encountered for the first time today 5-28-22.
  3. It happens on any website where I attempt to login.

Expected result: ~ Restoring the autofill passwords as they were functioning previously.

Brave Version( check About Brave): ~ Brave version 1.36.122

@BChiker I’m guessing you didn’t check your local user’s keychain

MacOS provides encrypted storage of credentials for each local user account.

Thanks to all who responded. The resolution to the problem was to uninstall Brave completely and download the newest software version. Now passwords on all websites are working perfectly, as they were on 27 May before it became an issue. I guess Brave doesn’t automatically update to the newest version for users - at least it didn’t in my case. Happy to say it’s case closed - problem solved. Thanks again for your help.
