Lot of sites just won't load

I keep running into sites which will not load, they work on other browsers, just not brave. I’ve tried a fresh install of Brave, removed all my extensions, disabled my VPN my virus protection software, disabled shields, tried allowing all cookies, added sites to the safe list within Brave, reset Brave to default settings, nothing seems to work.

For example was shopping for coloured contacts from sites I’ve used before and these 3 just would not load. Again work on every other browser I tried, but on brave it’s just a white screen. These are the sites I’m referring to:

I’d provide screenshots, but the favicons haven’t loaded and again just a white screen, so not much to show there.

This happens on quite a lot of sites and has always been a problem since I started using Brave.

Brave v 1.74.51
Windows 11, 22H2 (OS Build 22621.4317)

Please edit your Original Post (OP) above, to include your Windows OS version numbers.

Clear cache, cookies, etc. (brave://settings/clearBrowserData > Advanced tab; for “all time”), then exit / quit BB.

Restart computer.

Please use the Guest Profile or create an additional Brave Browser Profile, for testing.

Menu → More tools → Open Guest profile
Menu → More tools → Add new profile

If your issue is resolved with either of those other Profiles, then the Profile that you have been using, may have one or more settings that contribute to the cause of your issue.

And you might try Brave Beta for testing:

Tried, clearing cache, problem was still present.

Guest profile as well as Brave beta the problem was still occuring.

Accidently stumbled across this though. The link for one of the sites loaded when the URL was like this: https://eyecandys.com/brave://welcome
The page doesn’t exist but suddenly the site loaded, only with that URL though, any attempt to navigate it would just go back to a white screen.
