I encountered a major issue while attempting to sync my Samsung tablet with my Brave browser. I had multiple saved tab groups in my browser, organized for my coursework this semester, with around six groups per course, each containing approximately 15 items.
Here’s what happened:
- I initiated the sync process and added my devices to the same sync chain. However, my saved tab groups did not sync or appear on my tablet.
- I attempted several troubleshooting steps, including searching online for solutions and checking other tickets on similar topics, but I couldn’t find anything helpful or relevant.
- Frustrated, I exited the sync chain from my browser to prevent further issues.
Unfortunately, upon exiting the sync chain, all my saved tab groups were deleted. Regular bookmarks were unaffected, but all the saved groups were completely gone. I did not include the tab groups in the sync settings, so I don’t understand why this happened.
These tab groups were critical for my current semester, and I am panicking because I don’t know how to restore them. Is there a way to recover the deleted groups or session data? Any assistance or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
