Losing Wifi connectivity when using Brave

I have been using the Brave browser for about three months with no issues. I have been pretty pleased with it. Today, I lost wifi connectivity three times in a span of about two hours. I get the message essentially saying “cannot connect to this site” and “you are not connected to the internet”. Each time it reconnected after three or four attempts to reconnect. I use an IMac desktop running the OS High Sierra, version 10.13.6.

My wifi checks out fine. My phone remains connected to my wifi. So I switched back to Chrome on my desktop and have not had any wifi issues.

Any help you can provide would be appreciated. I have a bunch of important bookmarks on Brave and I don’t want to recreate them.

What version of Brave are you using?
Do you have any extensions installed?

I was on version 1.14.81 and I just updated to version 1.14.84 a few minutes ago.

I have never installed any extensions.

Are you currently using Brave, or Chrome?
If you have been suing Brave, are you still having wifi issues? You said:
