Description of the issue: Settings disappear after low disk space, including search engines & sync chain gone.
If just session data were lost, I could understand, but perhaps more permanent data should live in more permanent files, not subject to disappearing, presumably, on failed file writes.
How can this issue be reproduced? (speculative, guessing)
- Open Brave, fill the disk.
- Open tabs, continue activity so more writes from brave are triggered. Trigger sync?
- Close (or kill), free space, & reopen.
Expected result: Long-term settings are still present. Sync can continue, search engines are still present.
