**Since 3 days ago, the browser automatically signs out of logins (x.com, instagram, amazon etc) when browser closes. I have not changed any settings. Has the browser updated settings? **

Nope. And majority of people stay signed into things. Seems you may have toggled something or you have added another app/program to your device that is clearing data.
Information like this is often incredibly helpful. Also kind of key to know specifically which OS you’re using and all.

Using any extensions?
Do you have anything enabled under the On Exit portion of Delete browsing data?
What settings are you using for Shields, such as at brave://settings/shields? Also the site specific ones for the site(s) you have issues with:
Have you changed anything at brave://settings/content/siteData?
If you create a secondary browser profile by going to the hamburger menu
→ More Tools → Add new profile and login on that, does the same issue occur?
When you cay closing the browser, does it happen every single time just from closing? Or does it seem random?
Are you using anything like a VPN? And you’re not using the browser in private/incognito window, right?
Are you using anything like CCleaner, Avast Cleaner, etc?
