A few weeks ago I had to reset my browser ( [
Version 1.73.89 Chromium: 131.0.6778.69 Official Build 64-bit) in the process of cleaning out some bugs. I didn’t notice at the time but when I tried to log into my ebay account the other day, I no longer can. I get as far as the sign in page, can enter my information and that’s it. I can log in on my other browser ( Edge) with no problem. I’m wondering if there’s a setting or settings I need to look at or change to fix this. Also would kinda like to know why this is happening cause by the looks of it , none of the shield settings changed since before the reset.
Can you please tell me exactly what happens on the sign in page when you enter your information and click login? Does the button not work? Is there an error message shown? Does the page infinitely load?
Additionally, can you please try logging in using a Guest profile (Menu --> More tools --> Guest profile) window and tell me if you get the same results there?
When I try to enter my email info the button to enter info doesn’t work. But when I tried the guest profile I had no problems at all. I just recently reset my account and logging into ebay was working.
This might be due to an extension you have installed or you may need to clear cookies for ebay.com — can you please try disabling any extensions you have installed at this time and, if that does not resolve the issue, please clear cookies/site data for ebay.com and check to see if this resolves the issue?
I tried already with the extensions and no change. I’ll try with the clearing of the cache and see what happens.
I just tried clearing the cookies and that didn’t work. Well it was worth a try.

Then you might have to try clearing your cache/site data for “all time” on your main profile. There is no other reason this wouldn’t be working in your main profile other than some “bad data” stored somewhere in that profile.
