Description of the issue:
When breaking out a tab from current window (in an attempt to move into another window), the tab will “jump” from the current workspace to a different workspace.
It does not appear to necessarily be Mint workspace #1 (as seems to be described in previous post). As best I can tell it moves to the next most recent workspace in which a new Brave instance/window was opened.
How can this issue be reproduced?
Open Brave in multiple workspaces (Linux Mint)
Open multiple tabs in one of the Brave windows
Attempt to move a tab from current Brave window to another (on the same workspace)
Expected result:
Broken out Brave tab will move to targeted window in current workspace. (Or at least establish its own window, remaining in current workspace).
Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.32.106 Chromium: 96.0.4664.45 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Additional Information:
Linux Mint 20.1 Cinnamon 4.8.6
Kernel: 5.4.0-81-generic
Do you still have this issue on latest Brave, 1.33.106?
If so, I can see if I can hit the issue on my Mint VM.
Also, how did you install Brave, did you use the OS package (which I believe is from the Snap store) or did you use the instructions at brave.com/linux?
