Linux Mint Brave Flatpak updates

Hello, currently running Brave on the latest version of Mint Cinnamon via Flatpak, everything is working fine except the number and frequency of updates.

I would just like to check with other users if this is normal or there is a glitch my end, the last seven days there have been four (including today) updates of around 175mb each.

Sometimes the version numbers are the same but still goes through the motions, todays is pending as I wanted to wait until others replied,

Brave was installed around two weeks ago.

As a comparison, I run Brave on a Win 10 machine which is now on v1.65.26

Would it be correct to assume both browsers (Windows and Linux) are updating at similar intervals according to the update schedule above, the difference being is Flatpak downloads a full self container v Windows just installs an update?

Current Brave version is 165.123

I’ve had 4 updates since 17th April, using the regular package on Fedora.

Thanks, it looks like the issue for me was not the number but size of each update using Flatpacks, have since changed to Brave PPA directly.

Eagerly awaiting the next update to see if a) Update manager handles the new PPA and b) if there is a noticeable reduction in update size.
