Linux, kernel 5.8-rc3, brave-dev - complete breakdown

Description of the issue:

Switching from kernel 5.7.0 or 5.8.0-rc2 to 5.8.0-rc3 completely breaks the brave browser (brave-dev).

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.

Switch to new kernel

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):

I see lots of errors

../../sandbox/linux/seccomp-bpf-helpers/sigsys_handlers.cc:**CRASHING**:seccomp-bpf failure in syscall 0072

Extensions fail to load, pages fail to load

Expected result:

Normal behaviour

Reproduces how often:

Every time

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):

Debian/sid, Brave Version 1.11.82 Chromium: 83.0.4103.116 (Official Build) dev (64-bit)

Thanks, indeed. The patch (one line change) reverting a previous commit works also with Brave!

All the best
