Dear Brave Support Team,
I’m writing to report a critical issue that may involve Brave browser’s interaction with LinkedIn.
I’ve had multiple LinkedIn accounts restricted recently, and after investigating, I found that these restrictions only occurred while using Brave on my Windows PC. I had Brave Shields enabled with aggressive blocking settings (scripts, trackers, etc.). Soon after, LinkedIn restricted access to my account.
I later received warnings that my PC environment was unsafe. I’ve since wiped and reinstalled my system and switched to mobile access—where no issues have occurred.
I’m a student and heavily rely on LinkedIn for professional networking, and I fear Brave’s script blocking or fingerprinting protections may have triggered false positives on LinkedIn’s end.
My request:
Could Brave investigate this behavior and, if possible, provide me with a short technical statement or clarification I can forward to LinkedIn Support confirming that these browser features might cause login or verification issues with LinkedIn?
Thank you for your help, and I really appreciate the Brave team’s commitment to user privacy and security.
Best regards,
