Additional Information

Please note that the file that is being prompted for download is an .m3u (“em three you”) file rather than a .mp3 (“em pee three”) as it seems to indicate. .m3u files are playlist files.

I tested the website in Chrome, and it also has the same behavior: i.e., it prompts for an .m3u download rather than streaming any audio file.

This may be an issue with the website itself rather than on the browser side.

Hm. Firefox and Internet Explorer have no problem playing the files. Wouldn’t that indicate there’s some problem with how Brave (and, I guess, Chrome, from your observation) handles the situation?

If in fact it is something about the website, do you have any insights I should share with Hostbaby as far as how they would fix it?
