I visited a link which opened few windows made entire screen full with a virus on your pc please call etc…(im sure you all know and seen it before)
Is there a way to prevent such activity, build a block for such websites etc…

Are you talking about pop ups?
If I understand you correctly, I think you can do what you are asking for in the browser settings :
click on the ‘hamburger’ menu bar in the top, right hand corner of the browser, go to settings then shields.
