I would like to suggest the option to keep a limit to how long ‘history’ info is kept for. For example you could have it set to 24 hours, 1 month, 6 months etc and all history older than this is deleted daily.
As far as I can see, the only options for clearing history are for deleting recent history (eg ‘past 24 hours’, ‘past 4 weeks’). I want to keep recent history, but don’t see any reason to keep ancient history (eg going back years). It is of very limited usefulness (and seems an obvious possible privacy concern), but the only way to get rid of old history is to purge it along with the useful recent history.
