Lifetime cap erodes value proposition

I have Brave installed on my Desktop, my laptop, my work laptop, my cell phone. Recently, I reinstalled my OS on my desktop and was greeted with the notice that I can not verify my Uphold account (which was only created for Brave) because I have exceeded my lifetime cap of 4 installs.

As such, the only thing that makes sense to do is to turn ads off.

I’ve seen this article explaining that it is coming soon. There are no dates on the article, so it is unclear if that is still a valid article.

That’s fine. I can disable ads. I think, however, that ruins the value proposition for your internal marketing team. The policy that is in place discourages users from enabling your custom ad system. The idea that a user would never change phones or laptops or desktops… that’s a bit weird. I have never heard of such a thing.
