Hello? I literally went through every menu in the settings meticulously trying to remove all the distractors I don’t use, I didn’t enable Leo anywhere else and I don’t see the option to disable Leo from the quick search bar now without having to disable the whole thing, trying to sneak this one without including it in the options like the rest of the search engines is not cool!
Please fix this, I’m getting copilot flashbacks, having to fight with the browser trying to avoid the latest feature I don’t want, part of the appeal of Brave is that with a couple of adjustments you can get it to a state you like, but it’s getting harder and harder to achieve this.
Just here to +1 and to say this is the case for iOS as well, not just Android.
I am a fresh user looking to escape the bad Chrome and YouTube app experiences on mobile. Brave would 100% win me over instantly if it didn’t have crypto and AI stuff in it, or if I could completely remove them myself as a user.
As a customer, if you get me using it on mobile, you’ll get me using it on PC too, and next comes buying premium and singing your praises.
