Lazy Load Tabs on Launch?

I have played around with Brave for a few days and I’d love to switch to it, but there’s a feature missing that is a big deal for me: lazy loading tabs on startup. I’ve been using Vivaldi for several years, and it has the feature. I tend to have a lot of tabs open at once, for research, work, and other personal tasks, organized (for the most part) into different windows. Perhaps as a result of Vivaldi and lazy load, I’ve gotten used to opening my browser and all the tabs are there, without the enormous processor challenge of loading all the tabs at once. I can close my browser when I want/need to without having to go through any shutdown procedure of saving sessions or anything else. I really like Brave in the short time I’ve used it: it is very snappy, and it has some nice privacy features. But lazy load (for tabs, not images) is necessary for me, because I’d rather not change my whole workflow. (My recollection is that the feature used to be available through a Chrome flag, but it’s been deprecated.)

So… is there a way to implement lazy loading tabs on Brave? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome @Liebo13.

What version of Brave are you using?
What system are you working from?

:leaves:

I’m on a Mac running Catalina, and Brave version 1.7.98 Chromium: 81.0.4044.113. According to my browser, it’s the latest version.
