The site layout is a mess—images overlap, and text alignment is all over the place. This doesn’t happen on other browsers.

Do you have “Block scripts” turned on?

Under the Brave icon in the right of the address bar, under ‘Advanced controls’ dropdown, for that or any other particular site?
If so, turn it off and see if that helps.
I went to the site and it was funky like that for me too, but I use the NoScript extension (see link below), so I can choose the scripts specifically I care to use, I enabled scripts on that website and it fixed the layout.
I DON’T recommend using NoScript or Blocking Scripts as it can often mess up sites, unless you are ready to fiddle with nearly every new site you go to.
Yeah the site looks fine on my end too — even with Block scripts turned “on” in Shields. Does the site display properly when viewing it in a Guest profile window (Menu --> More tools --> Guest profile)?
