Launching Brave on Linux through a dock causes it to load a fresh instance

Loading Brave from the dock launches a completely new instance of Brave (as if it was a fresh install).
If I load brave up by searching for it or opening it through a terminal, it is completely fine and everything is normal.(upload://rrNpHUlJQ0GLqHzK6Pu72aS8cM.jpeg)

OS: Pop!_OS (using KDE Plasma)
Brave Version: 1.17.75
