Latest Brave Mobile update has issues with multitasking

I use a lot of tabs and switch between them. However since the latest Brave Mobile Android update (attached version details). It puts previous tabs to sleep very quickly. Just having 3 tabs or windows is enough to put previous ones to sleep - they become a black screen and only way to get them back to show the page is to reload (which isn’t ideal as a multi-tasker completing forms or writing text - it gets lost).
I’ve tried clearing browsing history etc. But the issue persists.

Anyone else noticed this issue?

@f18nfz not seeing this on my end I don’t think.
You might try changing the Android systems settings (on your device, Settings --> Apps -->Brave --> Battery) and see if this makes any difference.

EDIT: thanks, I’ve switched this back to unrestricted and after also restarting my phone, I think it’s looking better. Thank you for the suggestion!
