LastPass becomes unresponsive during eBay PayPal payment authentication

LastPass plugin becomes unresponsive during eBay PayPal payment authentication process. It no longer works on any tab or page, nor does the menu respond.

  1. Go to eBay.
  2. Try to purchase an item using PayPal.
  3. The PayPal login window overlay shows up.
  4. LastPass becomes unresponsive in all tabs and the menu.

Mac OS Sierra 10.12.3

The only way to resolve the issue appears to be to quit Brave and relaunch.
