Description of the issue:

When trying to use the media keys on the keyboard to control whats playing on Google Play Music, they will bring up the overlay, but only the play/pause button works. There is no change when hitting the skip or go back buttons, and they are greyed out on the overlay. It works fine in google chrome. This is while using a HyperX Alloy Elite keyboard.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.

  1. Start playing music via google play music
  2. press skip media key.
  3. overlay shows, but song doesnt skip.

Expected result:

The song should skip when hitting the skip button
