Please help.

I can’t use Brave with the constant changing of image on the new tab or home page.

HOW DO I SWITCH IT OFF?

You can try installing a new New Tab extension that will override the current behavior:

I have done that. Changed the theme but no matter what, the homepage background keeps overriding it.

Can you check which version of Brave you’re on? What you’re describing was fixed a few versions ago, and when I install one of these New Tab extensions, it works perfectly for me.
