Javascript Prompt() Not Prompting

I just recently noticed that the javascript prompt() function is not working with brave. It does this with or with out shields enabled.

Using w3 Schools Try to can verify the problem.

I noticed the same issue yesterday on my own site. Confirmed the issue with the above w3Schools link as well. Come on Brave, this is a big one!! And it hasn’t been addressed over the last 6 months?

Windows 10
HP EliteDesk (work computer)

this was just one of many reasons I dropped brave.

Issue logged for this:

It is currently slated to be included in the 0.24.x release, however this could change. All the most up to date information will be available on the linked issue.

Just a quick update. Latest release have window.prompt support. Release note V0.23.104 for desktop has been released!

I’m using Cordova 2.1.0 and and the prompt plugin located at this github. The plugin itself is working fine.

The issue I’m having is that when the prompt function is called, it does not wait for the user to input the text string before it continues to the next function which, in my usage, saves form values to localstorage using the user text string as the ID for the storage. This problem results in a local storage key-value pair being stored with a blank key and ruins the storage system.
