It keeps crashing since installing the last update

Description of the issue:

Brave keeps crashing since installing the last update. I installed it yesterday and it worked. Today, however, it exits within seconds. Without an error message. I tried reinstalling but the problem is the same. And all my password is gone.
I used it for a year and a half without any problems, until yesterday.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Launch Brave

Additional Information:
I was able to send a couple of reports, but I can’t see their ID, because it will exit by then.

Thank you for reaching out — can you please tell me what version of Windows you’re using? Additionally, can you confirm that you downloaded/installed the browser from our official website?

Windows 10 Education 64-bit (10.0, Build 19044) (19041.vb_release.191206-1406)

And yes, its from the official website.

Can you please try downloading the Beta build and see if this version also crashes in the same way? Note that the Beta will install as a separate browser and will not overwrite or delete any data from your current installation.

The Beta Build works fine.

Do you have any extensions installed in the release version of the browser at this time?

Maybe Metamask, but I haven’t used it.
