Briefly describe your issue:

It appears that Brave Shields is off by default and since I have disabled Google Play Services I have to deal with a stationary Google popup covering the Shield. I am unable to access the Shield at all as the popup covers it.

What Operating System and Brave version are you using (Menu --> About Brave)?
I am using Brave 1.57.62 on Android 12 - Linux.

Is your Brave Rewards Profile currently verified? (yes/no) no

What date did you connect a your Brave Rewards Profile? n/a

Have you been able to successfully receive payments in the past? n/a

Are you using a VPN? (yes/no)
Yes

Does your device pass the SafteyNet check (Android only)?
Yes.

Brave shields is always on by default, unless you had turned it off last time you visited it.

Perhaps could you share a screenshot of how the shields button is inaccessible? Since this is just impossible I think, since shields button is in the URL bar and nothing can overlay over it.
