It appears Brave is not allowing me to print or save

I use the print option to save important emails or pages to read later. I save them as a PDF. Today I discovered that this is no longer working for me. I clicked print, the dialog box open, I select ‘save as PDF’ then I select my destination. But the file is not created. Not sure what to do or what further info is needed.

version 1.77-100 chromium

It won’t print hardcopies either, but I don’t see any error messages.

Is your Brave Browser (Linux OS) also troubled by(?):

It appear so. But not enough info that I can relate to. My dialog opens, appears to accept whatever location I select, but when I click ‘save’ or ‘print’ I get no file anywhere. I’m not sure how long this has been going on. I’m using Ubuntu 18.04.6 LTS

I tried printing content from my Firefox browser and it is working. So this is only happening when I use Brave.
