Is this process mess normal? Spyware infiltration?

I recently switched to Brave from Chrome on my HP laptop, running genuine Windows 10 home with latest (11) updates and active genuine Norton360 and Malwarebytes premium.

They report no issues whatsoever, however I have reason to suspect I might be under surveillance.

I am talking about all the processes, not the highlighted one.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.31.88 Chromium: 95.0.4638.69 (Official Build) (64-bit)

@uncle_bud,
Can you please go to Settings --> Privacy and Security --> Security and tell me whether or not Safe browsing is enabled?

Enabled standard.

Force HTTPS ON

Use secure DNS with my provider

(i use vpn on a public hotel wifi, which has many ports blocked - OPEN VPN )

Chrome - same processes (yesterday)

@uncle_bud,
After review this does appear to be intentional as per:

So you’re all good :slight_smile:

Thank you for… SWIFT support!

Can I ask why are the processes the same as in Chrome?

Just a super simple one sentence explanation will suffice (and not exceed my knowledge)

@uncle_bud,
This particular setting is disabled by default in Chromium as well which is why you see the same in Chrome.
