Is there a way to "whitelist" cookies instead of deleting all of them?

Microsoft Edge and Firefox both have a great feature where you can clear all browsing data on exit except for a few sites that you keep whitelisted. Right now, I would either need to use an external extension or program to do this in Brave from the looks of it. I’m wondering if I’m missing something, because it seems odd that a browser that claims to be focused on privacy would be missing such a critical feature.

I’d like to switch away from Firefox, as more and more websites are starting to not work on it, but I don’t think I can do that until Brave fixes this issue, or unless somebody can point me to the setting. Anyone willing to help?

Strongly recommend, that you visit all of the settings at:

brave://settings/shields

brave://settings/cookies

brave://settings/clearBrowserData

Study and learn them; adjust what you believe to be the course.

Trail and error are part of that work. No way around the time that will take to gather experience. IMHO.

Whatever directions that you take, BE SURE to backup your bookmarks and passwords - often.

Using Brave Browser Bookmarks Manager’s Export button will create a “bookmarks.html” file.

All that said, you will notice during your tour of the settings, where to “whitelist” cookies.
