I’m not sure if I’m using the right terms, but is there a way to turn off the rotating wallpaper backgrounds when you first open Brave or open a new tab? Don’t get me wrong, they are all beautiful images, but I prefer a simple solid black background in my web browser.
I couldn’t find anything in the settings.
Maybe you want to suggest it for future versions?

You have got to be kidding me. No way to turn off your photos that have absolutely nothing to do with me or my world?
I’m uninstalling brave and going back to chrome. At least it doesn’t assault me with desktop sized images that do nothing useful and only slow down the startup time EVEN MORE.

I don’t think the images affect the speed. If I remember correctly, Brave is also “optimized” for speed (?).
True, Chrome is the browser that is really “completely perfect”.
