Description of the issue:
Picture-in-picture don’t have this progress bar before now it suddenly appeared cannot be used and never disappear no matter what.

Not that I’m aware of.
I agree that it would be better if the blue bar was optional, or better yet, if it appeared only when I hover over the floating window, just like the pause button and the current time / total time info already does. I don’t need to be able to see progress constantly, I just need it sometimes. Hover would be perfect for that.
