Is it secure to login into gmail from brave

I have seen many posts stating that gmail says “This browser or app many not be secure. Learn More”, like, Can't log into Google account in Brave.

What does gmail actually mean there?

I currently use Safari for all my logins because of which I have to switch from brave all the time to do a privileged action. I don’t know much about how all these secuirty measures are implemented.
I was interested in knowing how different are brave and safari when it comes to security. I surfed the web for this question but most comparisons are just based on speed and ads.

Google wants you to use Chrome instead of brave. That’s why they say Brave is not secure. Google hates Brave because it blocks their ads and trackers.
I use Brave for Gmail too and I don’t have any issues.
