Ok, so I had a feeling that Brave pays you crypto to your wallet and then you can withdraw it and do w/e you like including selling it for FIAT at an exchange under the laws of your country.
In reality it seems that all your Brave rewards need to be processed by Uphold exchange first, as if you were a US citizen and require you to comply with US KYC laws and regulations.
Only after that and paying some hidden fees your crypto is free to go.
And if you want to sell it for FIAT you’ll have to go through the same procedure again in your own country.
Am I correct?
I don’t see how this system is decentralized or respects or protects my privacy.
