Instagram messaging presents failures of the Instagram company not of Brave Browser, I recommend deactivating Google Translate when sending messages through Instagram since the Translator is responsible for disabling many of the buttons.
You can also change the Resolution of your Browser and try again.
Or Simply send messages in the form of a Cell Phone, Tap the F12 key of your browser “Developer Tools” and tap on the icon that looks like a Cell Phone
