Inconsistent verified publisher status between desktop and android

Description of the issue:
I reached out to slashdot.org and suggested they become verified so I can tip them, since I block all of their ads and frequent their site. They promptly responded saying it was a good idea and that they verified. I waited about 24 hours and noticed on my mobile android phone that slashdot.org was verified. When checking on my Windows 10 desktop, slashdot.org shows up as unverified.

Expected result:
I think verified should mean verified on all platforms. Unless I’m mistaken?

Reproduces how often: Always

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):
Windows 10 1809
Version 0.63.48 Chromium: 74.0.3729.108 (Official Build) (64-bit)

@Cruz there’s a chance that your Brave on desktop not get the latest publishers list. See Solutions for "not yet verified" bug for steps to fix it. :slightly_smiling_face:

IIRC, we’ve an issue logged for that.

I’ve tried all of the solutions listed on the link you posted but they didn’t fix the issue. The odd thing is that I can see slashdot.org in that publishers_list.
