A recent report brings attention to the Google Chrome codebase and continued issues with third parties detecting your Incognito Mode.

Incognito Mode Detection Still Works in Chrome Despite Promise To Fix

This is a big problem for any privacy-based effort, such as Brave. My question is: does Brave intend to counter this by any fixes to their mirror of the Google Chrome codebase?

Don’t worry – Brave already strips out any analytics/tracking code from Chromium builds so that your browser doesn’t send information anywhere without your consent. You can read more about what we block/remove from Chromium here:
