Include 'Site and shield settings' when deleting browser data?

When deleting browser data – “Delete browsing data” – should Brave’s “Site and shield settings” be included or left intact?

Or doesn’t it matter (i.e., they’ll return to their last settings automatically as webpages are revisited) ?

Clearing these settings will revert them to their defaults.

@mattches… Thanks. I haven’t been able to find a list of the ‘Shields’ default settings – not even searching with Brave Search. Is there such a list?

The default Shields settings are just what the browser starts off with. For example if I create a new profile, you can see what the Shields settings are configured to by default:

Thanks, I didn’t think of that (creating a new profile to see them).
