Troubleshooting technical issues is much easier when both the user and support agent practice clear communication. For this reason, we have provided the template below for you to fill out with information about your issue. Please provide as much detail as possible so we can most efficiently resolve your problem.
Description of the issue:
In a new tab when a link on any webpage is opened using “open in new tab in group” we cannot switch to the newly opened tab. There are lot of pre requisites to replicate the issue. You need to follow steps exactly as described to replicate.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Prerequisites to replicate issues are. Toolbar must be set to bottom, steps must be performed in a new tab.
- Open a new tab. Issue cannot be reproduced if steps are performed in existing tab group.
- Open google.com and search anything “how to write” or open YouTube.com and open channel of any creator. We need search results or series of link on a web page to open in new tab. In the screen recording I opened MKBHD channel videos.
- When search results are displayed only scroll up. If you will scroll down after opening link in new tab issue is not replicated.
- Keep scrolling down and open links in new tab in group.
- If you will try to interact with tab group pane, it’s not responsive. Neither you can switch to the newly opened tab nor you can close the tab. Sometimes it will become blank.
- If you just scroll a little bit to top, tab group pane becomes responsive.
