Improved Prebuilt Element Blocker

The idea is to have an element hider like Adblock’s were you are able to visually see what you are blocking and get a preview on how it’s going to look like before committing to block it.

I know that brave has a prebuilt element blocker. However I would say that it is not very nice and intuitive to use and is also pretty slow and inefficient in comparison. Brave’s custom blocker is only suited to individual, large block elements (especially single big pictures).

However it does not do well when wanting to do anything more than that.

Example of adblock:

It would be really cool if this could make it into the next update.

I opened an issue to implement preview feature. Here https://github.com/brave/brave-browser/issues/1027

The team may work on it later. :slightly_smiling_face:

Thanks. It’s good to know I’m not the only one that wants this. :grinning:
