I don’t understand the question? You want to do some "important banking work in Brave? What is the actual problem? Are you concerned about lacking security?
Brave is open source and is build on top on chromium. As with every browser, I cannot give you a promise that it’s perfectly secure, but in comparison Brave is probably one of the better browsers to do such work. But perhaps everyone will you that if you go to their community forum, so my opinion might be biased and you should probably rely on your own research.
