When I search something in brave and click on the images tab, it automatically enlarges a random image to the right and I can’t close it.
Secondly, when I hover over an image, the image proportion don’t show.
Is there anyway to fix these issues?

Correct. This is by design and how Brave Search is intended to work (at least for now). Unlike Google and some others, Brave Search keeps a picture preview of something on the right the whole time. You can click on something and it will replace it, but there’s currently no way to dismiss it.
This isn’t something made into Brave Search. It’s not a glitch bug but is design. I get it, you’re comparing to how Google or DuckDuckGo will show things like 800x629
or something. Not sure when or if Brave will build out to this. But for now, it’s just not to be expected.
