Icons on multiple websites appear as empty boxes or don’t render at all (see attached screenshot). This happens even with Brave Shields turned off. The problem persists across different websites that use icon fonts like Font Awesome or Material Icons, or anything similar.
Would appreciate any help or if this is a known issue with a recent update. Also, I tried disabling things like TamperMonkey and other site changing extensions like DarkReader.

Disable ALL extensions that you have added
Quit Brave Browser and Restart the Mac
Test the issue
Testing extensions
Enable extensions, one at a time, in order to individually test for issue - no combinations of extensions.
Leave installation / enabling of extensions that are anti-virus, ad-blocking, for last.
When installing anti-virus and ad-blocking extensions, install them / enable them, last. Anti-virus definitely at the end of the list.
(I would leave anti-virus and ad-blocking extensions out of all testing, until the end.)
