“I would like to help the Brave Community

Hello Brave Team and Community,

My name is Eyup Orhan. I’m a high school student from Turkey, and I’m interested in technology and browsers like Brave. I would love to contribute to the Brave community by helping users, learning from others, and growing with this amazing platform.

I have experience with forums, and I really enjoy being helpful. Please let me know how I can be useful or join as a community helper.

Thank you!

Eyup

Helping at the Brave Community, is a long road of continuous study.

Brave Support - Brave Help Center:

Some of the documentation there, is not up-to-date; so, do not be too surprised. Brave is a busy place with “several irons in the fire.”

Same for the Chromium engine development group:

Brave Browser is not Google Chrome, nor Microsoft Edge:

Brave Browser Development

About Chromium - somewhere online, a few years ago, I found:

“Intrinsically, Chromium is a Google project maintained by many authors (developers, engineers, graphic designers, security researchers … ) from Google, Adobe, Amazon, ARM, Brave, Cloudflare, Facebook, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Igalia, Intel, Logitech, Microsoft, Mozilla, Nvidia, Opera, Samsung, Vivaldi, Xiaomi, Yandex … and external contributors.”

Chromium is not only a web browser. It is a blend of different important open-source projects:

Deviations from Chromium (features Brave disables or removes)

Chromium source is fetched

Brave code is fetched

Hooks are run

What Chromium features are removed for privacy/security reasons?

You might create a new bookmarks folder, for the many webpages that have certain issues and tips on how to fix them.

Plan to be organized and able to update your organization of all those bookmarks.
