I want to understand what the settings mean

1. Info request
My very first post here. I’m very new to Brave.
I’ve been looking at the settings. My very basic question is I don’t understand what all the settings mean.
If there is a help file somewhere explaining them I’d love to be directed to it. I’ve looked everywhere in the Brave settings screens and searched and browsed this forum. But can’t find what I’m looking for.
Is there a link that will provide this info?

2. Feature request
I’ve tagged this a feature request because what I’d really like (and tbh expected to find) is either some explanatory text below / beside each setting (or just the less obvious ones??), or maybe a tooltip activated by hovering over the setting.

@eN0ch we’ve a support articles that may help https://support.brave.com/hc/en-us

Let me know if you still have a question.
Thanks

@eljuno thanks for the quick reply. Sort of helps. But seems a bit random. That is to say, there’s the “Settings Management” section of the help docs. It provides info about several settings, but not all.

… e.g. settings like “Show home button”, “Block scripts”, “Device recognition”, “Use a prediction service …” etc. As the noob I am I don’t know what some of those are about. It would be very helpful to have some ready info for guidance.

This one for auto-complete your URL or search keyword when you type in the address/URL bar.

Brave is based on Chromium. So, more or less the settings is similar to Chrome.
