@chuan7164 I just want to clarify a little more. Is it Error: Region Not Supported you’re seeing or are you seeing Rewards are not available in your area?
If it’s Region Not Supported, that shouldn’t be the case as Singapore is a supported country. So if you did use passport from Singapore, should accept. Now, if you used an ID from a different country, might be a different story. But you’re saying it was Singapore ID.
If it’s the Rewards not available in your area, then that’s because of the region you have set on your Operating System.
I am having kind of the same issue - I get the error “Error: region currently not supported”, even though my account is registered in Austria, which is 4th on the list of supported Countries.
It is true though, that I registered with a passport from Slovenia, which is not on the list. But this should be no problem though, because Uphold verified that my tax domicile is in Austria.
The issue is that the data shared by Uphold to Brave is the country of nationality. If you have verified with ID from Slovenia, this is the country that Brave can see.
Thus, until Slovenia is supported, you will not be able to receive rewards.
It’s unfortunate, but that’s how the system works.
Currently, your country of residence must match the country that issued your ID. If the custodial account was registered with an ineligible region or ineligible identification information, you will not be able to verify.
