I have used brave for two weeks and it’s using 13 gigabytes of storage despite I have cleared everything
It’s fully updated to 1.77 and I am running iOS 18.5

I would try:
Do a complete quit of Brave Browser on your iPhone:
In the iPhone’s Files.app, create a new folder named “BRAVE_FLDR_BKUP”
Open the existing “Brave” folder and move “SUN SPOTS.mp4” file to that new “BRAVE_FLDR_BKUP” folder.
Do a complete quit of any other applications on your iPhone:
Return to the Files.app and delete the existing “Brave” folder. (I am uncertain about, you may in addition, need to go to the iPhone Settings and make your way further, therein, where you can Empty (ie completely delete) that old “Brave” folder.)
Do a complete shutdown of the iPhone:
When you have started up the iPhone, return to the Files.app and create a new folder named “Brave”.
Run Brave Browser. Download the following test file - it is a simple text (TXT) file. The file’s contents are one word: ‘test’:
. . . and store that file in the new “Brave” folder that you created.
Check the available space again.
I have tried that but it’s still not working
OK. Next, I would export the BB bookmarks - creating a “bookmarks.html” file, and store that in the new “BRAVE_FLDR_BKUP” folder. Also, if you use the BB Password Manager, back up your passwords to that “BRAVE_FLDR_BKUP” folder. (You might also back up the iPhone to a computer and/or the iCloud, if you wish.)
Thus, data that most BB users wish to save, is at least stored on the iPhone but not in the BB installation path(s).
You may want to type or write down various important iPhone Settings. Make a copy of “Content Filtering” custom filters that you may have added. Disable any sync chain. Disable any automated backup service.
Such is the work that I have done before, when preparing for a complete removal of an app.
Then, do the complete removal of the app and its data (other than what you saved to the bkup folder).
Followed by a complete shutdown of the iPhone. Followed by a fresh installation of the app in question.
Is the only way that I know of, to effectively get rid of a lot of in-accessible, behind-the-scenes data.
Why can’t they just fix the issue it’s been a problem for years now but it’s all I can do thanks :3
